Frank Sinatra began his singing career around 1940 and quickly became a teen idol known as "the voice." His ability to sell a song made him an enduring star for over 50-years. The U.S. Postal Service packed all that fame into a commemorative stamp, issued on May 13, 2008 to mark the tenth anniversary of Sinatra's death.
